What is a smooth toe?

A smooth toe seam, also known as a “seamless toe,” is a way of finishing the toe of the sock so that the seam is not prominent. With most socks, you’ll see and feel a raised bump of fabric along the toe seam. This bump causes friction and irritation to your toes.
